Writing Emails and Describing People

Hey everybody, John from Cool English again to wish you a happy new year and share some new activities.

First is a fun writing activity based on the FCE tests. Students must respond to ads or announcements with prompts for questions or info needed. It's great to model in class then assign as homework. Providing all the prompts helps those less creative types to do some writing.

Second, I have a vocabulary activity with 12 nouns used to describe people. There are picture definitions, multiple-choice, open cloze, open questions, videos, an auto-correcting test, and much more. These words are a little advanced but very common in movies, TV shows, and the media.

I plan to be releasing a lot more activities this year and would love some suggestions of what you guys would like to see added to the site.
