Hello everyone! John here from Cool English with this week's exciting activity: "Word Walls". This interactive game is perfect for practicing parts of speech and expanding vocabulary in a fun and engaging way.
How to Play:
Choose a Word Type: Select from Nouns, Verbs, or Adjectives.
Pick a Category:
Nouns: Options include Food, Clothes, or Body.
Verbs: Options include Routine, Transport, or Feelings.
Find the Words: A wall of words will appear, and your task is to find the 15 words that match the chosen type.
Correct Words: Click on a correct word, and a brick piece falls into place.
Incorrect Words: Click on an incorrect word, and an error sound plays, blanking out the word.
Track Progress: Use the number tracker on the side to see how many words you've found and how many are left.
Classroom Tips:
Group Activity: Have students yell out the correct words or write them in groups, awarding points to the winning team.
Fun Learning: My students have a blast with this activity and often forget they're learning grammar!
