Hey everyone, John from Cool English with some new activities to share. Dependent Prepositions and Word Formation. Both are great for general grammar and vocab practice also preparation for Cambridge and IELTS tests.

First, there are Dependent Prepositions for adjective and for verbs. They are great activities to help students learn about certain adjectives and verbs followed by prepositions. So, for example, after the word "afraid" we use the preposition "of", for example, I’m afraid of ghosts. There is a learning section, a multiple-choice section, and a test.

The second is word formation. Where students learn the adjective, noun, and verb forms of words. For example, the verb "believe" can be changed to the noun "belief" or the adjective "believable". I like to use the word-formation activities in conjunction with the word-formation Jeopardy games.

I hope these interactive activities bring more excitement and understanding to some boring and difficult subjects.

John
