Hello to all my fellow teachers and English learners! John here, from Cool English, bringing you our weekly activity update. We're excited to introduce the new version of our popular game: "Who, Verb, What?" This updated version comes with even more engaging visuals and interactive elements to make grammar practice fun and effective. Let's get into the details!
How to Play:
Select an Image: Choose an image number to start the game.
Identify the Elements: Ask students to identify three core elements in the picture:
Who: The subject
Verb: The action
What: The object
Reveal the Words: Click to reveal the three essential words related to the image.
Construct Sentences: Challenge students to craft sentences using the predefined time-based phrases provided next to the image (e.g., "every week" could lead to "The giraffe drinks juice every week."). Clicking these phrases also reveals sample responses.
Score Points: Award points for correct answers and encourage students to select another image to continue the game.
This activity serves as an excellent exercise to practice various verb tenses in a fun and engaging way.
Do drop a comment to let us know your thoughts on this new version! We're eager to hear if you enjoy this update as much as we do. Stay tuned for next week's exciting activity on coolenglish.net.
Warm regards,
John
