Hello everyone! John here from Cool English with something special for our advanced students this week: "TOEFL Speaking Practice". This new activity is designed to help students recreate the integrated speaking tasks on the TOEFL test, providing valuable practice in a real-world format.
Activity Overview:
1.Topic Options: Each practice session offers two options:
Campus Life: Related to everyday university experiences.
Academic Topic: Focused on subjects studied in a classroom setting.
2. Reading and Listening:
Read: Students have 45 seconds to read a short text.
Listen: They will then listen to a short audio related to the text. A transcript is available if needed.
3. Answer Preparation:
Question: After reading and listening, a question is presented.
Prepare: Students have 30 seconds to prepare their answers.
Speak: They then have 60 seconds to speak their response.
Sample Answer: A sample answer is provided for review and comparison.
