This week, I’m introducing the "Speak Up Topic Challenge," a versatile speaking activity designed for learners at Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. With something for everyone, you'll have your classes speaking in no time.
The Speak Up Topic Challenge offers six intriguing conversation topics for each level, ranging from Family and Travel to AI and Economics. Every topic features four thought-provoking questions, accompanied by a sixty-second timer. Encourage students to respond to one of the questions within the one-minute time frame.
To make this activity even more engaging, consider gamifying it by awarding points for accurate answers provided within the time limit. However, if you prefer a more relaxed approach, feel free to use the questions as conversation starters without the timer or points system. The choice is yours!
