Hey everyone, John from Cool English with a great new weekly activity to practice pronunciation. Many students have problems with -S ending pronunciation, so I hope that this interactive activity with many reviews will help.
First, there is a learning diagram with rules about the three different ways we say the -S ending (-IZ, -S, -Z).
Second, there are ten short videos with phrases that have an -S ending word. Have students listen and choose which -S ending it is -IZ, -S, -Z. Also, great to have them repeat the phrase like in the video.
Third, there are some multiple-choice options with pictures.
Fourth, I have a short story filled with -S ending words for students to practice reading out-loud.
Finally, there is a test where students have three seconds to say the correct -S ending of different words.
I also have this with -ED endings if anyone is interested.
John
