New Music Activity - Encanto

Hey everyone, John from Cool English with the weekly activity update. This week due to many requests, I have a music activity based on the popular Disney song, “We Don’t Talk About Bruno".

As with all the music activities on the site, there are various parts.

The first is multiple choice, which allows you to hear parts of the song and click on the correct words. It's useful to have the song cut into short clips so students can replay them easily.

Next is the fill-in-the-blanks activity, which gives clickable blanks to reveal the correct answers. I either use the printable worksheet and have them write the answers, or with smaller groups I ask them to repeat the missing words.

I have the lyric, official, and karaoke videos, which I use to introduce the song or as a review. I play a part and pause it, asking the students to repeat what they heard or predict the next line. For more adventurous groups, play the karaoke video and have them try to sing along with it.

Finally, there is the printable pdf worksheet you can download and give your students. There are multiple-choice and fill-in-blank options along with some comprehension questions.
