Hey everybody, John from Cool English with two new activities for you. I have Movie Posters and Radio Ads.

Movie Posters is an all-level activity. Show students different movie posters and ask some basic questions about them. Have students try to create a summary of the movie, either spoken or written. Then read the actual one. Finally, show them the trailer and talk about it or summarize it. Try a few in class, then assign more for homework.

Radio Ads are for intermediate to advanced levels. Let students listen to real-life radio advertisements for famous companies. Each is only 30-40 seconds with three comprehension questions. This activity is great because it brings real-life listening in short chunks.
