Future Tense Double Dose

Updated: Aug 23, 2023

Hey everyone, John from Cool English with a double dose of the future tense for you all.

First, I have a grammar activity for will vs. going to. There is a quick explanation followed by six different reviews, multiple-choice and open cloze to videos and speaking games. Finally, there is an auto-correcting test.

Second, I have a great information gap activity for the future simple tense based on fortune-telling. Have students ask/answer future questions predicting what will happen in people’s lives. There is an explanation section, individual pages for student A or B, and a teacher’s page with everything.

I hope this is handy for some of you, and as always, please let me know if you have any questions or feedback.

John
