Hey everyone, John from Cool English with a new speaking activity to share with you all. Every January, I like to go back and find a bunch of the biggest stories from the previous year to use as conversation starters for my students.
Ask students to choose one of the pictures then they must teach the story behind it. There are headlines you can reveal if no one knows the story. I award points for correct answers, but you can use this as a conversation starter and not worry about gamification.
